Glass Recycling Update in Siouxland

Sioux City residents will be able to continue curbside glass recycling until January first.  City officials had set the deadline to switch over to a new recycling plan for December, but decided to wait until the first of the year.  Melissa Campbell is the environmental services analyst for Sioux City. She says there will be glass dropoff locations at three Hy Vee stores and two Fareways as well as the 20th street convenience center.

Campbell says that residents will soon be able to recycle other kinds of materials that would otherwise be thrown away.
