The Iowa Caucuses are two weeks away and for some the process can be a bit intimidating. Northwestern College in Orange City is hosting an event for people new to caucuses.
Siouxland Public Media’s Sheila Brummer talked to one of the organizers, Noah Karmann, who is the co-chairperson of the Northwestern College Democrats. The 21-year-old political science and history major talks about the partisan nature of politics and how young people are becoming more engaged in the election process.
The Mock Caucus takes place Tuesday night, January 21st starting at 7 p.m. at college’s Learning Commons in Orange City.
