Presidential candidate Kamala Harris held a campaign rally at the Anderson Dance Pavilion Thursday night, August 8, 2019.

More than 100 people showed up at the riverfront to hear her 3AM agenda.  Those are issues keeping people up at night,  according to the U.S. Senator from California.

“How will we fight for the America we believe in? So, we can solve the problems that people face every single day.”

Harris did say the United States needs reasonable gun safety laws.  However, she says Congress lacks the courage to act on gun control.

Harris also visited Sioux City back on July 5, 2019.

Harris’s visit to Sioux City was the first in a five-day trip through the state of Iowa.  She will be in Storm Lake Friday and will take the Des Moines Political Soapbox at the Iowa State Fair Saturday.

A new poll by Monmouth University in New Jersey shows Harris with more support than four-months ago.  She's up four-points to 11% according to the poll of likely Democratic caucus goers.
