Democrat J.D. Scholten ran uncontested for the Iowa House.

Republican Jacob Bossman won re-election for Iowa House as an uncontested candidate.

Assistant County Attorney James Loomis beat long-time incumbent P.J. Jennings for the office of Woodbury County Attorney.

Former U.S. Representative Steve King attended a GOP watch party last night in Sergeant Bluff. He reacted to Republicans winning all contested match-ups in Woodbury County.

Congressman also talked about issues facing the Democratic Party and his thoughts surrounding the polarization of politics.

King lost his appointments in Washington on comments Republican leadership deemed racist. The loss of leadership positions led to his defeat in the Republican primary against Randy Feenstra in 2020. SPM asked King his thoughts on some of the false information and claims made by alt-right lawmakers on a National level.
