Gambling in Nebraska

Nebraska has no casino gambling.  Because of this, many citizens from Nebraska visit nearby states to gamble. Ho Chunk Inc. has filed a proposed ballot initiative to add an amendment to Nebraska's constitution to legalize and regulate gambling in casinos.  Sam Burris, the communications manager for Ho Chunk Inc., speaks with Siouxland Public Media about the advantages of legalizing gambling in Nebraska.
