The Head And The Heart On World Cafe

The Head And The Heart.
James Minchin

The Seattle band The Head and the Heart had major success with its second album, Let's Be Still, which came out on Sub Pop in 2013. Its folk-pop sound, superior harmonies and fine writing struck a chord with audiences and sent the band on the road for over a year.

Now, after a year-long break, The Head and the Heart is getting ready to release Signs Of Light, its first album on a major label (Warner Brothers). In this session, the band performs onstage at World Cafe Live and discusses its surprising role in the Cameron Crowe-produced Showtime series Roadies.
