Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol was recorded live at Lamb Arts Regional Theatre on December 20, 2019. 

Credits:

Diana Wooley was our Narrator and Director.

Russ Wooley played Scrooge.

Bryan Deck was Bob Cratchet.
Karen Sowienski and David Madson were our ghosts.

The rest of the cast included Brian Hamman, Wayne Blum, Rick Myers, Donny Short, Krystal Deck, Brock Bourek, Matt Cihak, Mary Madsen, Peyton Machan, and Rosie Markham.

Let me do the math. Were she born a century later, she might have just now concluded a stellar basketball career at USD. Why cut her short?--think of her as a Hawkeye. Wherever she played, she scored because even now, a century later, Hope Emerson would still tower over much of the opposition.

Hope Emerson was born 1897, when the game of basketball was a five-year-old. It would take another decade to put young women in uniform, even here in Iowa, where girls basketball went big-time decades before it did elsewhere.

Shot in the Dark Productions is in the midst of a production of Heathers the Musical, a theatrical 80's charge inspired by the movie starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater. Though much of the language and style stays true to the Reagan years, the themes remain current. Director Joey Hartshorn and lead actor Scott Kruse joined SPM's Mark Munger. 

Gretchen Gondek talks with Tracy Bennett, director of the Sioux City Community Theatre's upcoming productin of Mary Poppins. Auditions are this weekend at the theatre!

For their Projects of Hope, Lamb Arts Regional Theatre presents "Metamophoses," May 6. The play brings Ovid's tales to life, and this first night of its run will help to breath a little life into art as all proceeds benefit the Sioux City Art Center. Lamb's Russ Wooley and the Art Center's Erin Webber-Dreeszen joined SPM's Gretchen Gondek.
