The White House Coronavirus task force is again recommending Iowa establish a statewide mask mandate.

The White House task force says Iowa should establish a statewide mask mandate, and notes that COVID-19 is being brought into nursing homes through community transmission.

Last week’s White House report said masks should be required in Iowa metro areas and places where schools have coronavirus cases.

A group of more than 100 members of the Oromo community took part in another march to protest the killing of a famous singer.

They gathered this morning at a park near the Mary J. Treglia Community house with flags and signs before heading to the Federal Courthouse in downtown Sioux City.  

They demand for justice for Hachalu Hundessa who got killed and for other Oromo leaders who have been jailed.

El Departamento de Salud Pública de Winnebago informó el jueves que dos personas murieron debido a COVID-19 por un total de tres muertes en la Reserva Winnebago. Sesenta y seis han dado positivo con 50 ya recuperados.

Hay dos muertes más en el metro de Sioux City. Uno en el condado de Dakota, y una mujer mayor de entre 61 y 80 años en el condado de Woodbury.
