Weather Bosses Aleodisha and Alicia Give the Weekend Update

Today Aleodisha and Alicia report for Siouxland Public Media Weather from the Spalding Park Environmental Sciences Elementary School.

Today in Sioux City, expect cloudy skies with a high of 71 and a low of 60. On Saturday, expect it to be partly cloudy with a high 73 and a low of 57.

On Sunday, expect it to be partly cloudy with a high of 70 and a low of 55.

This weekend, The Iowa Great Lakes will expect cloudy days with highs in the 70s.

We have been learning about natural disasters, specifically flood and hurricanes. In Iowa, we can experience flooding when rainfall is greater than we expect. Flooding can also be caused by snow melt overflowing the rivers. Hurricanes are most commonly found on coasts. Both hurricanes and floods can cause damage to homes and cities.

I’m Aleodisha and I’m Alicia for Siouxland Public Media Weather.
