Three Holiday Traditions, Morningside College Revisits Football Champtionship Game

This week on The Exchange, in anticipation of the holidays, we talk with the leaders of three faith traditions in Siouxland.  We talk with Bishop R. Walker Nickless of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sioux City about the meaning of Advent and the Nativity.  
We also speak with Pastor Jim Shirbroun of Grace United Methodist Church in Morningside about preparing for the coming of Christ in the season of Advent.

Also, we speak with Rabbi Guy Greene of Congregation Beth Schalom of Sioux City about Hanukkah.  The holiday begins at sundown on Sunday, December 22nd.

And we hear about the traditon of Kwanza with Ike Rayford and Shelby Pierce of We Are Not A Monolith.  We also have a preview of Friday evening's live radio play of "A Christmas Carol."  This is the second year for this performance made possible by Siouxland Public Media and Lamb Arts Regional Theater. 

And finally, Siouxland Public Media's Sheila Brummer sees off the Morningside College football team as it leaves campus to take on Indianapolis' Marian University in the NAIA Championship in Louisana.
