The Corey Dennison Band's sophomore outing is called Night after Night, and we get our night on the TOB started with Phone Keeps Ringin'.
New music from Popa Chubby, Corey Dennison Band and Kim Wilson adorn the first half of the TOB tonight. Plus a classic from the Master of the Telecaster, Albert Collins and Tab Benoit sings an Otis Redding classic.
A jazzy Stevie Ray instrumental to listen to on the show tonight plus brand new music from the John Pagano Band and the Supersonic Blues Machine who have hired on Billy Gibbons to help out on one of thier songs.
Kim Wilson sets the tone for a night of Blues and Boogie from an album that promises an entire volume of just that. The TOB follows suit with both blues AND boogie from a variety of other sources, Tab Benoit, Corey Dennison Band, Buddy Guy and many others.
Fine young slide player and singer Eli Cook earns the right to kick off the show this time around. A gravelly voice and a tendency to play National Steel guitars combined with good song writing skills make Cook's High Dollar Gospel, album a favorite here at the TOB.
