The Democratic presidential candidates continue to visit Siouxland in advance of the Feb 3rd,  2020 Caucuses.

Today, one of the leading candidate’s wives came to Sioux City.  This morning at the Sioux City Public Library about 50 potential caucus-goers gathered to meet Dr. Jill Biden, who was talking about her husband former Vice President Joe Biden’s qualifications. Biden says Iowans want to talk to her about important issues.

“There’s so many things that Iowans are concerned about, the whole gamut of issues from climate change, education, health care, gun control.  I’ve seen a lot of energy, people are now starting to focus on the campaign.”

Some of the attendees like Sioux City’s Skip Hoelker, said he likes Biden even though he has not yet made up his mind who to support.

“I’ve always liked Joe, and I think he has a really excellent shot. And I tell ya, I ‘m not 100 percent sure who I’m going to caucus for, I am going to caucus, but he’s at the top of my list, and he’s probably who I’m going to go for.”

Jill Biden also met today potential voters in Cherokee, Storm Lake.  Tomorrow she goes Emmetsburg, Sheldon, Le Mars, and Onawa.  The Iowa Caucuses are 80 days away.
