Their boat got stranded on West Blue Lake in Monona County.

A former care provider in Sioux City has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for stealing from her clients.
Fifty-year-old Lisa Sembach-Preston was sentenced Tuesday. She’d pleaded guilty to two counts of dependent adult abuse and two counts of theft.
The judge also ordered her to repay nearly $85,000 to Crossroads of Western Iowa.
South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg and a couple hundred supporters braved the elements last night to attend a town hall meeting at West Middle School in Sioux City.
Buttigieg says he is the candidate who can unite the county.

Sales for the year rose 5 per cent to 39.2 billion dollars, and net income jumped 37 per cent to 3.2 billion.
