The initial appearance for a man charged with killing a pastor in Fort Dodge has been pushed back until tomorrow.

Thirty-six year old Joshua Pendleton was charged with robbery and first-degree murder for the death of Rev. Allen Henderson.

Officers found Henderson at St. Paul Lutheran Church.  He was pronounced dead at a hospital in Fort Dodge.

Television station WHO-TV in Des Moines posted video this morning showing the suspect, Joshua Pendleton getting angry and pounding his fist on a nearby desk.

Officials have determined the remains of two people found earlier this year along the Elkhorn River in northeast Nebraska's Stanton County predate any recorded missing persons cases in the area.

Officials have declared the remains to be historical.

The remains were found earlier this year, one in March and the other set in April, following massive flooding along the river.

The Stanton County Sheriff’s Office had the University of North Texas analyze the remains.

Iowa Senator Joni Ernst is in Sioux City today.  She took part in a leadership event at Briar Cliff University this morning.  The gathering was for high school and college students interested in the world of business and leadership.

Sioux City native Shelby Houlihan will run in the semifinals of the World Championships in the 1,500 meters in Doha, Qatar.  Her race takes place at three this afternoon Iowa time.

Houlihan advanced after placing fourth in her heat and 22nd overall.

Her time was 4:08.51.

Houlihan won both the 1,500 and 5,000 meters at the U.S. Championships in Des Moines this summer.
