Less than a month before the Iowa caucuses, the top tier is a cluster of four candidates: Joe Biden, Pete Buttigieg, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.

Former Secretary of State and presidential candidate John Kerry will be in Sioux City tomorrow afternoon campaigning for Biden.  He’ll make an appearance at Biden’s campaign office on Hamilton Boulevard along with other national elected officials supporting Biden.

Over the weekend candidate and Maryland Congressman John Delaney visited Siouxland.

This is audio from an appearance at Horizon restaurant yesterday.  He also stopped in Sheldon later yesterday, and Okoboji this morning.

Delaney who is near the bottom of the Democratic presidential candidates says he’s the only one talking about bringing jobs and investments to Iowa.

“I’m the only one showing up.  I’m the only one talking about bringing jobs and entrepreneurship and investments in rural communities.”

Hear more from Delaney Wednesday at noon on “The Exchange”.

Delaney talks about his plans to try and gain more support before the Iowa Caucuses in February and how is more moderate than others in the Democratic field for president.

Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts will attempt to lower taxes for homeowners, farmers and military retirees this year while setting aside money to help the state recover from the historic 2019 floods.

The governor says  he'll present lawmakers with a property tax package during the new legislative session that starts Wednesday.

The Iowa Legislature gets back to business a week from today.  The grandson of U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley, Pat Grassley will be the speaker of the House.

Grassley, who is 36-years old is starting his 14th year in the legislature.
