The state primary is coming up next Tuesday on June 5th. There are many state and local offices where there are multiple candidates competing for their party’s nomination. In Northwest Iowa’s 4thCongressional District, there are three candidates running in the primary for a chance to take on longtime Republican Congressman Steve King of Kiron. They are JD Scholten, Dr. John Paschen, and Leann Jacobsen. King also has a Republican challenger, Cyndi Hanson of Sioux City. On The Exchange today we will hear from the candidates and get their take on important issues like health care, the economy, and gun control.
