Democrats Vy for A Chance to Run Against Sen. Joni Ernst, Winnebago PowWow

This week on The Exchange we hear from three of the four candidates competing to challenge Republican US Senator Joni Ernst in 2020.  Kimberly Graham, Michael Franken and Eddie Mauro were in Siouxland Tuesday for a lunch event and forum sponsored by Siouxland Progressive Women.

We also have another interview by the Girls, Inc. members who are part of the Siouxland Media Lab.  This week they talk to Sioux City Mayor Bob Scott.

We take you to last week's Winnebago PowWow, and talk with a member of the ACLU about a new position it will soon fill in South Dakota that will focus on issues affecting indigenous peoples.

You will hear from film maker Jay Shapiro who is working on a new documentary about the closure of the Sioux City Zenith plant 40 years ago.  Shapiro says he was inspired by the original documentary about the event by George Lindblade.

That and more this week on The Exchange.
