COVID-19 Vigil in Sioux City

A few dozen people attended a vigil in downtown Sioux City on March 1, 2021 to remember victims and survivors of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Several who attended spoke about their loved ones who died during the past year. Others talked about the impact of the disease on minorities and front-line workers in the community.

Siouxland Public Media’s Sheila Brummer attended the event virtually on Facebook and shares the heartbreak and insight from the evening.

The full event can be found at this link.
