A Nebraska lawmaker is sponsoring a bill that would make Juneteenth, the oldest known celebration of the end of slavery in the United States a state holiday.  And there is also a bill put forward this year that would create a holiday to celebrate the life Malcom X, who hails from Omaha. Omaha-area lawmaker Justin Wayne is sponsoring the Juneteenth Bill.  He talks about the bill's importance.
