Korie Lown, a registered full-time dietician at the Hy-Vee on Hamilton Boulevard, talks about how the Blue Zones principles that apply to cooking. Lown will be conducting the next Blue Zones Project Cooking Class on Wednesday, March 25. She has designed a mouthwatering menu: flatbread with goat cheese, pecans, and honey; sweet potatoes with a warm black bean salad; and, citrus infused berries.
