For Kids “Learn an Irish Jig”
Program will be held on Saturday, March 18 at 1:00 PM at the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center. Recommended for K-6th grade students. Free program: registration is required.
Students will need their dancing shoes as they learn a traditional Irish jig during this weekend’s activity. Patrick Gass, a sergeant on the Lewis & Clark Expedition, may have taught the common dance to the other soldiers of the Lewis & Clark Expedition as they rested around the evening campfire.
